Looking to access your tax documents for this year? If you’ve opted to receive 1098 and 1099 statements electronically, your 2023 Year-End Statement can now be accessed via the Documents section of your account.
Your 1098 statement, or Mortgage Interest Statement, is used for reporting the amount of interest and related expenses you paid on your mortgage within the tax year. The 1099 statement is used to report different sources of income throughout the tax year. With these two statements, you can be well prepared for tax season in April!

Keeping Your Account Secure
Here at Carrington your account security is top priority. With that in mind, we encourage you to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) before this step is required for your account on March 4, 2024.
2FA is an additional security step to our login process to ensure the identity of people trying to gain access to their account. By requiring more than a username and password, we better prevent unauthorized users from accessing your private information. This extra security measure requires you to verify your identity with a unique code that is automatically generated and sent to your phone or email when you log into your online account.
You can enable 2FA in your Carrington online account by selecting “My Profile” on the top menu. Click the "edit" icon to the right of the “Two-Factor Authentication” section to enable 2FA security on your account. Please ensure your contact information is correct so the verification code sent to your phone or email can be received. Simply follow the instructions from there; once completed, you will have secured your online account with 2FA!
